Fraternity Paddle

The time honored tradition of a fraternity "rook-son" giving a personalized paddle to his "rook-dad" has stepped into the modern age. This laser-engraved fraternity paddle was given to a member of Theta Chi fraternity, as evidenced by the Theta Chi crest and letters.

In the comparison picture, take note of the difference between a loose-grain wood (oak, the darker paddle) and a tight-grain wood (maple, the lighter paddle). The maple engraving shows up much clearer than in the oak.
